The sensational New Year’s fireworks in Belgrade Waterfront will amaze the world again

This December 31, Belgrade Waterfront will again be on the list of world destinations with the most spectacular New Year’s celebration, because one more memorable light and pyrotechnic performance will be staged at Sava Promenada next to Galerija.
The last moments of 2024 will be accompanied by a special New Year’s projection on Kula Belgrade, with a traditional countdown of the last 10 seconds and a unique laser show.

As an unforgettable intro to the 2025, exactly at midnight, the sky above the Sava will shine with a gorgeous palette of colors, thanks to an imposing, six-minute fireworks display that will be fired from as many as 216 unique positions. The pyrotechnic sensation, during which more than 12,000 effects will be used, will be staged on the tallest building in Serbia and the region, from the Gazela and the Old Sava Bridge, in lengths of 150 metres each, as well as along the New Belgrade’s riverfront across from Belgrade Waterfront in a length of 1 km. The impressive visual show, inspired by the motifs of Belgrade and Serbia, will be synchronised with music specially composed for the „craziest night“, through which national tones intertwine.

Top professionals from the local company Pyro-Team Serbia are in charge of this year’s fireworks with the central idea of „Light of Belgrade“. They exclusively created effects for the needs of this project, combining modern technology and traditional elements that reflect the spirit of the capital. They will be supported by the renowned French company Groupe F, which has participated with its pyrotechnics in numerous New Year’s Eves at the Burj Khalifa in Dubai, at the opening and closing ceremonies of the World Cup in Qatar in 2022, as well as at the Olympics in Rio de Janeiro in 2016.

When designing fireworks, special emphasis was placed on safety, ecology and innovation. Biodegradable materials and environmentally friendly pyrotechnic components will be used to minimise the impact on the environment.
