The New Year 2025 was celebrated in Belgrade Waterfront with a spectacular musical and stage performance, which has already become a tradition every December 31. Several thousand visitors on the Sava Promenada in front of Galerija attended an unforgettable multimedia event, which once again confirmed that Belgrade Waterfront rightly enjoys the status of a world-class destination with the best New Years’ celebrations.
The old year, 2024, was celebrated with a special New Year’s projection and the traditional countdown of the last 10 seconds on Kula Belgrade, followed by fireworks at midnight.
The musical part of the program at the Sava Promenada was marked by three Eurosong divas, who dalighted thousands of visitors with their powerful vocals. After Tijana Bogićević presented her magnificent vocal abilities, Jelena Tomašević took the microphone and warmed up the audience with unforgettable hits. Our only Eurosong winner Marija Šerifović brought it to a fever pitch, with whose songs the public gathered next to Galerija welcomed the first minutes of the New Year.
Fireworks with the central theme „Light of Belgrade“ were performed by top professionals from the domestic company Pyro-Team Serbia, which has more than 3,000 fired fireworks. Support in creating an unforgettable performance was provided by the renowned French company Groupe F, which participated in numerous worldwide events with its pyrotechnics.
