Belgrade, July 8, 2020. godine – Galerija Belgrade, the biggest shopping, entertainment and gourmet destination in the region, will welcome its first visitors within Belgrade Waterfront in the autumn. „Among all the projects we are currently working on within Belgrade Waterfront, Galerija Belgrade is certainly one of the most exciting. A unique mix of more than 300 local and international brands that will be presented in their premium versions, combined with prestigious restaurants, cafes and unprecedented entertainment for all generations, will position Galerija Belgrade as an unavoidable shopping destination in the Balkans, which will undoubtedly improve the general tourist offer of Belgrade and strengthen its economy”, says Nikola Nedeljkovic, general manager of Belgrade Waterfront.
What distinguishes Galerija Belgrade from standard malls is the area intended for entertainment, which includes more than 50 cafes and restaurants! As much as 20 percent of the total area is planned for this segment, which is four times more than the standard on the local market.
In the part of Galerija Belgrade that overlooks the river and Sava Promenada, there will be exclusive slow food restaurants, including the most renowned Belgrade restaurants, but in a new, enhanced concept, with spacious terraces, spectacular interiors and glass facades that provide a unique view of the river. A part of the bars and cafes will be located on specially designed squares inside the building. In addition to the inspiring gastronomic offer of international cuisine and unavoidable local flavors, visitors will also be delighted by the fact that the ground floor restaurants will be open until 2 am. Galerija Belgrade brings the most modern cinema, occupying as much as 4,000 sqm, with more than 1,700 seats, as well as a huge entertainment complex consisting of three thematic units, with yet unseen entertainment concept!
The prestigious architectural studio Callison RTKL, which is behind projects such as Columbia Center in Seattle and Fashion Show, the largest shopping mall in Las Vegas, designed this unusual multifunctional facility.
