It’s graduation season! For graduates from Belgrade high schools, that means cranking out their best dance moves for the traditional synchronized dance to the music of Johann Strauss. Once again they chose Sava Promenada as their stage to celebrate the end of their studies and entering the world of adults.
On May 11th, at noon, Belgrade students danced at Sava Promenada to promote tolerance, peace and friendship, together with their peers across Europe. The tolerance dance has been held in Serbia for thirteen years – the first graduates danced in 2006 in Nis, when it spread to almost all cities in Serbia! So far, about 150,000 graduates participated in this dance in Serbia, and almost half a million in Europe.
