Within Museum Night, which all culture lovers across Serbia impatiently look forward to, Belgrade Waterfront organized an exhibition titled “Luka Celovic – Realization of the Serbian Dream”, in cooperation with “Svetozar Markovic” University Library.
This multimedia exhibition was open to the public on May 18th at the Belgrade Waterfront’s Sales Centre, previously known as Belgrade Cooperative, which Luka Celovic helped build at the end of the 19th century. The exhibition showcased his vivid biography and revealed the most important moments in the life of this great benefactor, who also helped build an entire part of Belgrade.
A short movie about his life was also presented, and all visitors had the opportunity to examine the selection of books from his personal library. For those who were not able to visit Belgrade Waterfront’s Sales Centre, a virtual exhibition is available on http://www.unilib.rs/lukacelovic/.
