Belgrade Waterfront’s master plan is on display in the world famous department store, Harrods, Knightsbridge. For the first time in the United Kingdom, visitors are able to see firsthand a model of Belgrade Waterfront, which recorded more than 200,000 visits since the end of July.
On Wednesday, September 21 2016, an event was organized in association with the British-Serbian Chamber of Commerce and Harrods Estates to immerse more than 100 invitees from the UK in the progress of Belgrade Waterfront. The presentation was inaugurated by Serbian ambassador in London, His Excellency Ognjen Pribicevic.
“Belgrade is cultural and gastronomy hub of South-Eastern Europe. By revitalizing the riverfront, it will become one of the most beautiful cities in the region”, Mr. Pribicevic stated.
Sir Paul Judge, Chairman of the British–Serbian Chamber of Commerce, said on the occasion of the event that British companies recognize Serbia as a good investment destination:
“Belgrade Waterfront opens new opportunities as a hub for doing business, but also for living and experiencing the best of Belgrade and Serbia. We are proud to be part of this presentation, which adds great value to business cooperation between Serbia and Great Britain”.
Invitees had the chance to learn more about the growing Serbian ‘city within a city’ and its touristic potentials, as well as what the project has to offer as a new city hub on the bank of the River Sava, that will change the face of Belgrade. Insights were offered to visitors about the amenities within the BW Residences, the first residences in the development, to be completed in 2018.
