The exhibition “Let there be light“ by the artist Dragana Gutesa will be opened on Tuesday, February 7, at 7 PM, in the KvArt BW exhibition space, on the second floor of Galerija.
The exhibition will present works that are an expression of the specific artistic temperament of Dragana Gutesa. The paintings made using the oil on canvas technique, with the addition of silver and gold leaves, evoke tenderness, sentimentality and gracefulness. The artist shows motifs from nature, but not completely realistically. With gentle colors, enriched with gold and silver, Gutesa gives these paintings a sense of the idealistic, elusive and spiritual.
Dragana Gutesa was born in Belgrade in 1970. She graduated from the Faculty of Fine Arts in 1997, where she obtained her master’s degree two years later. She is also the winner of the Petar Lubarda painting award in 1996 and for the best drawing of the Faculty of Fine Arts. She is a member of ULUS and exhibited at numerous group and solo exhibitions.
The exhibition “Let there be light” is organized by ŠTAB Galerija and the art initiative KvArt BW. The exhibition will be open until February 20, and the working hours of the KvArt BW are every day from 11 AM to 7 PM. The entrance to the exhibition is free.
