Exhibition “The Age of Predators”

The exhibition “The Age of Predators” by artist Tibor Lazar will be opened on Friday, July 28, at 8 PM in the KvArt BW exhibition space, on the second floor of Galerija.

Visitors will have the opportunity to see the works of the author, whose creativity is closely related to the territory of Vojvodina and the transition between the 19th and 20th centuries. Tibor plays with nostalgia and irony with the canons of the past, aware of their changeability and impermanence. In his paintings, a meeting of opposing aesthetics and artistic strategies was achieved.

Tibor Lazar was born in 1980 in Becej. He graduated in 2004 from the painting department at the Academy of Arts in Novi Sad, and completed his master’s degree in 2008. He participated in numerous individual and group exhibitions in the country and abroad. He has been awarded several times, and his works are in public and private collections.

The exhibition “The Age of Predators” is organized by STAB Gallery and the art initiative KvArt BW. The exhibition will be open until August 10, and the working hours of the KvArt BW are every day from 11 AM to 7 PM. Entrance to the exhibition is free.
