“From selfie to introspection”

The exhibition From selfie to introspection by artist Zoran Kuzmanović will be opened on Friday, September 23, starting at 7 PM in the KvArt BW exhibition space, on the second floor of the Galerija.

The author deals with one of the oldest and most present themes in the entire history of art through a completely refreshed, strong, modernist approach and the monumentality of the work. In his artistic process, he starts from classical sculpture but develops and transforms it, gaining a completely new dimension by changing the classical context and enabling its interpretation both through personal emotional experience and through the observer’s introspection.

Zoran Kuzmanović was born in 1967 in Smederevo and graduated from the Faculty of Fine Arts in Belgrade, where he also completed his master’s and doctoral studies. He is the founder and manager of the Kuzman Art Workshop. He is an artistic associate at the Faculty of Fine Arts in Belgrade. He exhibited at numerous group and individual exhibitions.

The exhibition From selfie to introspection is organized by the ŠTAB Gallery and the art initiative KvArt BW. The exhibition will be open until October 10, 2022, and the working hours of the KvArt BW gallery are every day from 11 AM to 7 PM. The entrance to the exhibition is free.
