Chinese Lantern Festival will be held from January 31 to February 13 at Sava Promenada in front of the shopping center Galerija, and lanterns will be on every day from 5 p.m. The traditional light magic designed by a group of artists from the province of Sichuan brings the spirit of tradition and symbolism of ancient China to Belgrade Waterfront. Their light installations will introduce us to the wonderful world of imagination and light, which will be interesting to all generations.
Visitors can expect numerous novelties this year, such as impressive “Butterfly Wings” and music-light interactive “step on lights” that activate when you step on them. These unique exhibits will be placed in Galerija, next to the entrance 5.
“This year, we will celebrate the Chinese New Year in Belgrade with fantastic light installations. I am glad that the tradition continues and that more and more people are attracted by this colorful setting that reminds of the world of Chinese fairy tales”, says artist Slobodan Trkulja.
Admission to the festival is free.
