BELGRADE RIVER FEST 2025: THE MAGIC OF MUSIC BY THE RIVER

A Hollywood superstar is coming to Belgrade!

This summer, in a stunning new riverside location along the banks of the Sava at the foot of Kula Belgrade, the fourth edition of Belgrade River Fest will take place – an event that has become synonymous with sophistication and world-class musical experiences.

Beneath the open sky, on June 9 and 10, in a setting that exudes elegance, a specially built luxury concert stage will host, for the first time ever in this part of the world, superstar John Legend and Spanish diva Luz Casal. This musical spectacle will once again affirm why Belgrade River Fest is regarded as one of the most significant cultural events in the region.

Following unforgettable performances in previous years by iconic artists such as Andrea Bocelli, Nick Cave, Mariza, Anna Netrebko, Yasmin Levy, and Antonis Remos, this year’s edition promises another unforgettable celebration of passion, artistry, and emotion.

JUNE 9 – JOHN LEGEND: SUPERSTAR MAKES REGIONAL PREMIERE

On the opening night of the festival, audiences will have the rare opportunity to experience a live concert by John Legend, one of the most awarded musicians of our time and one of only 19 people in history to achieve EGOT status – winning an Emmy, Grammy, Oscar, and Tony Award.

His timeless ballad “All of Me” remains one of the most streamed love songs of all time, with over 2.5 billion views on YouTube. Known for his deeply emotional performances, Legend has won 13 Grammy Awards, an Oscar, a Golden Globe, a Tony Award, and three Emmys. Accompanied by his full band and production, he brings his signature sound and soul-stirring energy to the heart of Belgrade.

JUNE 10 – LUZ CASAL: A NIGHT OF PASSION AND EMOTION WITH THE RTS SYMPHONY ORCHESTRA

The second night is reserved for the legendary Luz Casal, a Spanish icon whose voice carries the depth and passion of the Mediterranean. Her timeless hits “Un año de amor” and “Piensa en mí” will be elevated to new heights through a powerful collaboration with the RTS Symphony Orchestra, creating an unforgettable experience rooted in the beauty of cinematic music.

Casal, in collaboration with Magnifico, adapted the beloved regional song “Pukni zoro” into Spanish under the title “Madrugadas”, a moving rendition that has deeply resonated with local audiences and solidified her status as one of the region’s most cherished artists. Throughout her celebrated career, including collaborations with Oscar-winning director Pedro Almodóvar, she has been honored with accolades such as the Latin Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award, the French Order of Arts and Letters, the Goya Award, and even the keys to the cities of Paris and Madrid.
