The 17th Belgrade Boat Carnival, organized under the slogan “Be like a river”, will be held on Saturday, July 9, from 6 PM to 10:30 PM on Sava Promenada. Musical performances, concerts for children, educational and entertaining workshops, and professional animators will be part of the program on Sava Promenada during the Boat Carnival, which symbolically draws attention to Belgrade’s rivers and coasts.
The program starts at 6 PM with a parade of the Police Orchestra, majorettes from Bela Crkva, animators of the Comedy Theatre, and a concert by the children’s choir “Čarolija”. The main part of the event, the festive parade of decorated vessels, starts at 6:30 PM and will move upstream from the Branko’s Bridge to the end of Sava Promenada. All vessels will participate in the selection for the most beautifully decorated boat, and the winners will receive valuable prizes. The festive parade will be followed by concerts by the groups “Belgrade Groovz” and “Texas Flood”.
